What happened against Giddings?

Blocked Punt on low snap = 7 points Giddings
Fumbled punt return & tired defense = 8 points Giddings
Lack of size in the defensive line = 80 yard TD run right up the middle and 6 points Giddings.
Total for Gidding= 21
Final analysis: La Grange moved up and down the field but the Giddings D denied them once too many times (twice on 4th and short in the red zone in first half, twice on 2 point conversions and in the final series on the Giddings 37 going 4 and out). Certainly proves how defense wins games. It was the Commerce State Final loss all over again (LG 17 first downs to Commerce's 5). LG had something like 15 first downs to 5 but found a way to lose Friday. :rolleyes: Good luck to the Buffs they played with real heart. Yeah Caldwell beat Giddings, yeah Manor beat Giddings, but lol....with the "Warda Bowl" anything can happen, just like I said a few days before the game. Good job to the Giddings "D".

Well i start for Giddings this year and yes we did lose to Manor and Caldwell becasue those were away games and we are undefeated at home and will remain that way!

giddings is a good team but should of beat them without a problem. you guys drove the ball up and down the field all night long. Now that giddings won it caused a four way tie between manor, gidding, elgin, and la grange.
