Great article! It really depicts the Jasper team this year. They may be young, but you can never count out the dawgs. :cool:

Very accurate article on Jasper football...The Beaumont Enterprise has a really good Sports writers staff. Newton and Jasper will be loaded for bear again this year, I plan to follow both teams in their climb up the brackets, just as I have for several years. That game between Newton and Jasper should be a great one again this season.

Yeah. It was a real shame what happened with the kid who played last year that shouldn't have. The coach took the blame, but the kid was the one that lied to the coach. I think that kid had to withdraw from school last year because all the other kids were really hacked off at him. Hopefully this year, we'll just see a great game without any of that stuff.

Can we just kick the darn thing off already? Nothing would make me happier than to see our young Bulldogs kick the stuffing out of PNG. :D

Newton plays Jasper this yr for homecoming as if we needed anything to get us pumped. I think this yr both teams will be more evenly matched, Jasper not being quiet as good as last yr and Newton being a little better.
