Is there a way?

Is there a way to re-rate posters.(Say you were really mad at them and knocked them but now you feel bad about it and want to help them get back where they belong.)

I have never done this, its for the others that may have second thoughts.

That's a real good question...I'd like to know the answer too because I know some people have said things that have shot their ratings (take jimbotex40 for example), but they've proven to be good posters later on and haven't regained their status because of their one mistake.

No, unfortunately there isn't, you can vote only once for each poster, and you can never go back and change it if you change your mind, so you MUST be careful with it.
Crzyjournalist, I already gave you a five, so I can't help you anymore, but hadn't voted on whtfbplaya until now, so gave him a five to help.
