(Fastest highschool athlete in Nation)
9th grade - 261 yards (3 games)
10th grade - 1700 yards, 31 td's (11 games)
11th grade - 1918 yards, 28 td's (11 games)
12th grade (so far) 77 carries, 828 yards, 11 Td's, (4 games)

What about Danny Ruth?
Haven't seen him play.

For Blanton, that's 162.31 yards a game for his Varsity career!

I have not seen this Blanton kid play , he sounds like a very good running back,I have watched Ruth play from the first day he put on pads,I dont believe comparing yards or T.D's between the two will decide anything, they paly on diffrent teams, diffrent districts against diffrent teams, have diffrent offenses , play with diffrent calibor Q.B. So can we not just say that Blanton & Ruth are both great running backs?

Don't get me wrong....read other posts that I have written in, I have said and I quote "they are both great high school running backs" but I just wanted to compare some stats and info about the two!

blanton is a good athlete and a is impressive on the track but i wouldnt consider trading ruth for him. ruths numbers arent as good, but everyone knows when it is nut cuttin time he is gonna get the job done. ruth doesnt carry the ball every snap either.

Let me try this again! Are you trying to hint that Blanton gets the carry every snap or just trying to say that Ruth doesn't get a lot of carries?

Ive never had the pleasure of seeing Danny Ruth play, but I have see Blanton. The kid is awesome, however he is by no means Forneys only weapon. They have another back named Brown who would be the star on most teams. They have a kid named Cuva that gives them a good kicking game. An outstanding defense. Yeah Forney is for real and so is Blanton. Just from both teams success last year I would say both Ruth and Blanton fit their respective teams needs. Maybe they will get to meet if Forney goes Div I.
