My bro Will Byerly is up for player of the week honors on DCTF site. He is way behind right now and has no way of catching up, but he could use some more votes anyway, for just playing a GREAT ballgame. He is #40 LB for Jasper, I believe he logged 1 int., 1 fumble rec., 12 tackles and 3 sacks. Here is the link where you vote, if anybody is interested in voting for him.

I appreciate it guys. That's a great game he played, but hard to get the recognition the skill players get. We're all mighty proud of him. He took a visit to SMU this weekend, and met the coaches, visited the campus and watched the game. He visited Rice the weekend before last. It will be cool watching him play college ball.

I voted for him too. I just gotta spread the #40 Linebacker love. Defense doesn't get enough recognition anyways.
