Turkey, mmmm. We alternate between smoked in the smoker, with mesquite or hickory chips for flavoring and fried. When smoking, we don't use any seasonings. There are several very good types of injection marinade for frying. Hubby bought a different brand this year at HEB - Tony Chachere's, Creole Garlic Butter, I think. We fried them Sunday, since he's working today & we're leaving this evening, so had to have a taste. It was very tasty - I liked it much better than the flavors that are laden with Worcestershire, but I think it's a personal thing. Don't know where you're at (Field of Dreams can be lots of places) but Academy usually has a good selection and your grocery stores will as well.

Good luck - I think he fries them at about 3 min/lb. Hope it turns out yummy!

YUM!!!......deep fried!!!!......my dad has been frying them all day he had liek i think 7 turkeys to fry for some other ppl and then ours soooooo all i have been smellin is fried turkey!
