I had made multiple post on the same topic more than once. The numbers are the same. Those occasionally watching the counter, don't worry it doesn't work anyway. There's no telling how many posts some may have.

Your number of posts listed in the "post" blank all roll with each post you make. Your first post doesn't stay at the number 1. When you post a second post, the number on your first post AND your second post roll to 2.

Ok I just went back and looked... it isn't working that way now. Soooooo... nevermind. :D

Looks like every time you post within a certain topic, all of your posts within that topic roll to the latest post number.

it updates when other posters post on the topic...this should be 1638 for me...but if I post somewhere else, then someone else posts on this, this one will read as 1639
