Burnet Community Pep Rally

Burnet had a community wide peprally/parade and we had a guest speaker! He was from Cuero! He was the quaterback for the team that went to the Sate Semi's in '85 or 86'. Don't know for sure. he went on to play for the NFL for 10 diff. teams. Just thought that I would let ya'll know. Something interesting. Anyone know him?

That's who it was... Don't know him personally... His nephew or cousin or something was a back-up QB this year and played on the defense...

Brad Goebel Quarterbacked the gobblers to the 85 State final game against Daingerfield. At one time he held the 3A State single season record for total yards also.
