How about that powerlifting meet in Woodville last Saturday. We had several go and place and even though it was a boys meet Coach Barbay took Hope who won state in the girls division. She placed second in all of the compeitors. Way to go Hope. Preston Diggles recieved outstanding lifter.Keep me updated on meets in the future. K-Ville Wildcats

Congrats to the Cats. I didn't make it to the meet but I watched a video of a few K-ville lifters. I was very impressed. Keep up the good work cats.

Kirbyville JV won 1st place last sat. at the Nederland meet. I'm not sure how varsity did. Keep up the good work Cats.

Kirbyville is lifting at Newton tonight. I'll try to post results(team) tomarrow. I wish we had power lifting when I was in school. All we had was a couple of cender blocks on a broom handle. :D

Well, last Saturday at the Anahuac meet the Jasper guys and girls went to....the girls placed 2nd over all, the varsity boys placed 2nd over all, and the jv boys received 1st place! A lot of our people received medals and one varsity guy (Jordan Patton) got the Outstanding Lifter award for the upper weight classes. We represented Jasper very well at that meet as we do at many meets. I can't wait till the next one, although I'm not positive if we're going to the Livingston meet or the one in Beaumont. GO JASPER IRON DOGS! :)
