I just got word today that Wylie's kicker (Philpot) has been playing w/ an ingrown toenail for about 3 weeks on the big toe of his kicking foot. He just told the coaches this week. He is still able to kick, but just w/ a good amnt of pain. This explains why he had 2 or 3 kickoffs go out of bounds against Graham and also why he missed his first FG against Ballinger, a 42 yd one. He has been kicking very well in practice this week so hopefully this shouldn't be too much of a problem tomorrow. His ability to routinely put kicks into the endzone has been a huge advantage for Wylie and hopefully he will be able to continue doing so tomorrow.
