Orangefield and Newton's scrimmages...

Orangefield beat Livingston 14-13 last night in Livingston. They played two 25 minute running qtrs with OF's offense looking alot better than the week before. We're still beat up, and might not have everyone back for next week, but this was a good test for our young team. In the controlled part of the scrimmage OF outscored them 1 to 0.
How did the Newton/Crockett scrimmage turn out?

Newton edged Crockett with 27 seconds left in the game, to win the scrimmage 5-4, but it was very close, and intense. Both teams showed a tremendous amount of speed, power, and heart! neither team gave up. Good luck to both teams!

To BobKat: Glad to hear that OF looked good against 4A Livingston...That team went 4-6 last season and returned an average amount, as I understand it...Who knows, this may be the-- year of the Bobcats--seems like a lot of teams returned a lot of strength in 21-3A...Both of our schools, are going to have trouble with H-F, H-J, Ana.,and maybe even Hardin.
