View Full Version : La Grange Defense the real deal

After viewing the first full speed inter squad scrimmage last evening I must say that the Leps are looking very good, especially on defense. Middle linebackers Lance Shramm and Josh Johnson were impressive, moving quickly to the ball and really punishing the ballcarriers. On offense the left side of the line dominated, openning huge holes for power fullback Greg Boothe. Junior left tackle, Albion Stiffler (6'1" 235), was seen pancaking the defensive end on more than one occasion. The scrimmage Saturday against Cuero should not disappoint.

I heard Valastro in putting together a new offense. Is it true?

I did notice they were running out of the I formation on several sets.

Port Isabel has the "Seawall Defense". Thanks to Coach V. R.I.P. we have a great defense. I hope we get to show how good of a defense we have when we play.
