It sure has been quite on here with out the PPHS Vs. Old Cardinal banter going on. Season is almost here, need some comedic relief.

I'm not PPHS Fan, but I am a Bearcat fan. Why would he be moaning about Gainesville beating us? Was it really a suprise to anyone? I knew Gainesville was going to beat us, I knew G'ville was going to beat the living crap out of us, I'm just suprised the score was only 30-0 and not more.

To PPBearcat: I really hope you have a good year! I just give it back to PPHead any time I can. He always likes to try to get my goat, and of course, I have found his buttons to push to get him started....

PPHSfan was using a satellite link to the internet. About two weeks ago, a tree fell over and destroyed his antenna. He is in the process of trying to get it replaced. From what I understand, the link up kind is much different from the standard antenna, and is harder to come by. He will be back, just a matter of time. Meanwhile, if any of you need to pass something along to him, let me know.

EXCUSE YOU! That's the "Ya Ya's", not the YoYo's........you Yo Yo! Actually, we did have a bunch of men that we always called the "YoYo's". They were always laughing at us and doing dumb stuff....they tried to out do us, but fell way short. So sad. They were better off in the "Dog Pound". (And they know who they are!!) :D

Peace and Ya Ya!!

Hey 66, have you talked to him lately? Is he anywhere near up and running again. I may be in the minority here, but I miss him. He has never "rung my bell".

Hmmmm....on second thought, strike that last statment, it just doesn't sound quite right, does it!!

I talked with him last week, and he had gotten a new antenna, but something was wrong with the downconverter on his unit. Said he was thinking seriously about getting a dial up for back-up.

Why don't he just go to a friends house or the library? Just to get caught up on whats happening?

Oh man...that must hurt having to go from satellite to dial up!! I wish I had at least a cable modem here. The people behind the school have access to DSL but I kinda live in the boonies so I am stuck with dial-up for a while!

Ranger Mom, you might want to look into the satellite thing. He says it isn't terribly expensive, around $59 a month or so. If you think about what people pay for cable plus a dial up, they're prolly spending more than that now.

And, he said he has used the library a couple of times.

'Tell him Pilot Point Sucks'...

Must be proud to have beaten that 2A move-up...

I forgot, when did they start handing out rings for that?
