Congrats on the win. Better team won no doubt about it. Maybe one day Coach Barnes will learn how to play against a team that can throw the ball and maybe one day he will learn how to mix things up on offense but until then, Crandall will continue to lose to Forney. The only reason we won in 98 was because we just had too much talent not to lose. Good luck to you guys in Forney. Looks like another year of making it to the playoffs and losing in the 2nd round like always for Crandall.

Crandall has always been bad? Look at their record over the last decade or so. Now a team like Eustace or Kemp, they have been bad for a long time. Although Kemp was in the playoffs in 1997. They beat Forney that year in the bi-district round.

Was anyone else frustrated with all the personal foul penalties? The players on both sides were hyped up because it was a rivalry game, and the refs just kept throwing flags on both sides to try to tone them down. I know it didn't affect the outcome of the game considering how often both teams were flagged, but I just wish they'd let the guys play and understand that there were naturally going to be extra emotions on the field.
