The Leps are well conditioned. In games against Gonzales, Elgin, Manor, and Sealy the Leps won the game in the 4th quarter. In all three of their losses they came back to almost win in the 4th failling only due to a turnover or penalty. This is evidence of superior conditioning, something I have not seen discussed on this board before. Coach V gets his players in shape. You really can tell in the 4th when the opponents are hunching over, hands on hips, heads down, sucking for air, and the Leps are running back to the huddle. I saw it clearly against Sealy last week. The players hate it in August-September but it pays off in November and December. And one more thing, conditioning is not something you can adjust for late in the season, you either have it by now or you don't. Go Leps, Beat Orangefield!!!
