Celina turned in 11 and change. I figured they have one more cycle left in 4A. After that they'll follow a trajectory similar to Prosper, which spent 6 years in 5A before going to 6A and now Prosper has 3 high schools.

CHS is supposed to expand to a capacity of 3,000 by 2026, but they'll be packed before long.

A lot of the experts predict a downward shift in cutoff numbers for 5A-6A and possibly 4A to 5A. Although a lot of numbers need to come in, it is interesting that there are 6 schools listed with enrollments having less than 10 from the present 3A-4A boundary. Could be very interesting. There have been years that the cutoffs shifted downward. Maybe this year?

Talk of Corpus Christi and Austin schools that opt up in the past may go where their #'s fall.
Maybe indication of this is Austin Eastside had 4A-2 numbers last realignment and opt up to 5A-2 to stay with other Austin schools.
-- This shows they are at 4A-2 #'s and opting to 4A-1 , where some of other Austin schools will fall with 4A-1 #'s.

I've seen discussion of one-horse ISDs (like DeSoto) opting up and thought that wasn't allowed except in multi-school ISDs and instances of extreme travel.

Has that rule changed? Should DeSoto be made to play in 5A?
