Cuero has an awesome ball club. Linebackers close holes as quickly as any high school club I have seen. If I were coaching against them, (I'm not), I would never snap the ball when I had it with more than 10 seconds left on the play clock. Got to limit there possessions if you are going to have a shot at beating them, even better to wait til the clock is down to less than 5 seconds. Apaches stopped them twice. Once on downs and once on an interception. I think they scored every other time they had the ball. Gave them too many chances that they didn't need. First challenge will probably be Wimberley somewhere down the line.

Thanks Gontex... Gobblers vs Apaches is the 2nd longest "rivalry" for the Gobblers.. Yoakum has 1 year more lol I was glad to see you still posting... I don't visit the Down Low like I used to, mainly cause it takes forever to load on m phone (big pictures) but I do pop in from time to time to see what's going on.
