Pirates haven't beaten the Trojans since Troutman became head coach. May not happen this year either. Sinton did not look very good in their scrimmage with Cuero after a so-so scrimmage against Kingsville. Offense is supposed to run more out of the "I" formation this year but didn't see it in the scrimmages.

Offensively yeah not to sharp after 2 scrimmages but plays ran wasn't much to them on the run plays and passing plays looks like Handson going to need few games under his belt to get in sync with receivers.
Defense has been good, great against Kingsville but it's Kingsville and Cuero scrimmage they gave up very long plays for td and another one qb for Cuero is fast but that one was called back for holding. They made stops just couldn't avoid that one play that would go the distance they have all season to improve their DL play to stop that. Holding Cuero to 14 points for half game in scrimmage live action not to bad, interception and forcing a fumble on a hit in live action for defense with new faces in there.

Sinton favor by 22 by DCTF not sure what MattStepp has as his prediction.

If Jacoby James is ready to play as he missed both scrimmages the offense should look a lot better.

From what I saw Thursday there's no way Sinton will put up 28 points unless Beeville has a lot of turnovers. Gonna take Handson a couple games to get back to playing at a high level. Hasn't played a game since his fresman year. This will also be the 1st time this new front 7 goes against the Slot T.
