Brownwood caps off a perfect performance in district and gets a bye to roll into playoffs. From what I am understanding we are playing Thursday night in Odessa vs. San Elizario for the first round of the playoffs.

BWD also becomes the second team in BWD history to score 400+ points in the 10 regular season games. (2010 team scored 545). And currently has the second highest PPG in BWD history (40.2). They need 99 points in the playoffs to pass the second most points in Lions history (501 Points - 1977 State Finalists team)

Nice job! Love seeing The Wood back up and in the state conversation. All things holding equal, I think the Lions make it to the semifinals.

Are you sure? I thought we would play El Paso Irvin.

Correct. Coach said San Elizario last night but I think it was before the result of the Elizario-Irvin game came in.

Yeah. I thought Canyon would be our biggest hurdle until they lost to Randall. Now I think only Decatur could beat BWD, but that'd be in quarters
