Raymondville is coming off a BYE week as they were unable to find a 7th non-district game. So they have a week of rest coming into this game.
Raymondville has shown that they are stout defensively, but offensively they seem to be struggling as they're averaging 10 points per game.
Port Isabel, on the other hand, were able to play a full 7 non-district schedule, with the last 2 allowing the starters to get a few reps in before backups took over. So PI starters should be pretty well rested for this game, too.
The Tarpons come into this game averaging 34 points per game, but have struggled a bit on defense giving up 20 points per game.
Common Opponents:
Rio Hondo: PI 41, RH 21 / Raymondville 21, RH 14
Edcouch-Elsa: PI 31, EE 14 / EE 13, Raymondville 6
Lyford: PI 41, Lyford 40 / Lyford 14, Raymondville 0
