Well, looks like 69 hours till game time.
Thought I would share an old Family Recipe my mother passed on to me.
Egret Stew
Ingredients
1 Flock of Egrets, (preferably 22 at least)
1 Large Dutch Oven
1 Dab of Smack
Lots of Bermuda Grass
1 Herd of Bulls, (Bridgeport Bulls)
Dozen Coaches' Brains
1 32oz can of Bridgeport Bulls Whoop A
Directions
First, combine the grass and Egrets into the Dutch Oven. Be sure to do this somewhere where spectators can watch. This is pretty enjoyable.
Meanwhile, combine the Coaches Brains with the Herd of Bulls. NOTE: This is usually done for several days to get a good flavor.
Now, add a dab of smack to the Egrets and Grass in the pot! Wow, that is pretty entertaining! Then, pour in the Bulls and Coaches and Mix thoroughly.
Add the can of Whoop A just as the Bulls and Egrets are thoroughly mixed. NOTE: The feathers will fly but should be pretty easy to clean up.
Cooking time is usually between 12 and 48 minutes. After the Egrets are done, you need to pull the Bulls back out and, there you go! Stewed Egrets!
wink :D wink :D wink :D
Enjoy,
