Best 4A/3A 2007-2021 S2S 15th year

On June 8th Grant and I will record our 15th-year show where we will talk about the great teams, players, coaches, and fun moments from our time doing the show. We would love to have your questions and comments for that show. We want to hear who you think the best teams, players, and games are in 4A and 3A from 2007-2021. ...Also any questions you might have about the show NOT involving this year.

I replied with something similar over on Smoaky, but for me, thinking back:


Best Player: Dwight Smith, Carthage, 2008. I probably wouldn't even entertain many other arguments. That dude was a DUDE. Most polished HS running back I've ever seen.

Best Team: 2014 Gilmer, 2008 Carthage, 2007 Celina, 2013 Argyle, 2007 Liberty Hill, 2020 Argyle ... maybe in that order.

Best Game: This was the hardest one for me. So many phenomenal games during that span. Celina vs. China Spring 2007 State Title game, 2010 Carthage vs Brownwood, 2014 Gilmer vs Gladewater, 2015 Celina vs Gilmer, 2013 Argyle vs Fairfield, Gilmer vs Cuero 2009, Carthage vs China Spring 2016.

I know there are so many more great games that I just don't remember. Can't wait to hear what some others have to say in that regard.

Fun idea, G & T, can't wait to listen to that show! Always love this time of year when y'all start doing shows again. Feels like coming home after being gone a while.
