Back in the 70’s Cuero was in district 11 for a couple years. That was the only time. Gonzales has been in R3 several times. Last time Gonzales was in R3 was four years a go

Apaches were in District 10 last time they were in Region 3. I really can't remember Region 3 before then. Doesn't mean it wasn't, just I don't remember it.

Nice non-district schedule and district. Great not having any district games in the Valley. At least for 2 years anyway.

La Vernia game will be the closest for me and more expensive as I would take toll from Georgetown to La Vernia. Raymondville if in Raymondville will be the longest and did that this past season.

Jimmy Mitchell is the coach at Edna so that'll be interesting.

A far west 3A district with only 4 teams is doing this.
