3A D1 Lorena vs Brock Jerry's World

Lorena has held it's own for years in 4A, in spite of numbers at the bottom of the cutoff. Dropped to 3A, and dominated this year. Lorena fields 3 strong running backs (1080 and 1523 yds), QB with good poise in the pocket (2859 yds), a superb sophomore receiver #7 Jadon Porter and strong DL is a Junior (Gutshaw). Defense this year is exceptional. Leopards #2 Henry, son of 1987 State Champ and Baylor Bear John Henry. Last State game was 1989 - lost, and 1987 State Champs.

Going up against Brock. QB Moody (2800 passing), RB Wilson 2600.

Should be a good one.

In 87 we (Eastland) tied Lorena 19-19 and they won on penetrations in round 2. It was a tough way to get knocked out.
