That is a surprise. I didn't think Sinton would have a problem with Miller.

Wow! Knew it would be a good game but didn’t think Sinton would lose this one.

Veterans Memorial will make alot of teams look bad this year. Miller has speed and size to wear smaller teams down and there is talent to go with that speed. Pirate defense spent a good portion of the 2nd half on the field. Offense just failed to produce like they did in the 1st half. Sinton has 2 weeks to heal up before district. Hopefully they will be back at full strength then.

Backup Jerek Sanchez was averaging 9 yards/carry and Rylan Galvan not available still and WR Cruz who also plays safety with those 3 out force Rene Galvan to carry the team and did a great job and also played safety in this game.

Last year backup was Fr Aidan Moody thought maybe he get back on offense for this game but just defense this year. Opportunities were there to go up by two scores in 2nd half few times but Miller step up and kept it within reach till they took the lead halfway through 4th.

Might be the game Miller needed, they have the experience was just a new qb and he step up his game in the 4th qtr. Haven't look at video i recorded but thought Sinton blocked the punt when Miller punted from inside their own 10 just before half with Sinton up 18-7 and Sinton was called for roughing the punter. Sinton would of had gotten the ball at midfield with chance to extend the lead instead it gave Miller new life and they took it down field and scored before halftime.

Great game both teams needed that type of intense game.

If Aidan Moody would have been suited up for the game he probably would have been the RB for this game. Unfortunately he was one of the walking wounded on the sidelines Friday night. Then when #16 Moreno went out injured, that really hurt Sintons ability to stop the inside runs and put pressure on Millers QB. As I posted earlier Sinton has 2 weeks to hopefully heal up and be at full strength come district play.

Moody and Moreno were rb last year so we were down to our #5 rb? Sinton favor by 50 in next game vs West Oso.
