If Burnet Wins It's Texas Stadium

[PAINTBALL]

I was told last night by a very reliable source that Burnet lost the toss with Gainesville and reached an agreement with Wylie. So regardless of whether Wylie or Gainesville wins, the State game will be in Texas Stadium next Saturday if Burnet beats Jasper Saturday. The time will be determined by whether or not some other teams that have the stadium reserved win or lose this weekend.

Good, I'm glad it's not a dome. :D If we make it to the championship game, I didn't want it played in the alamodome or astrodome, were 0 for 2 in championship games in domes.

I think the game should be played at Alamo Stadium in San Antonio. A 5A state championship was played there a couple of years ago.

In order to play @ Texas Stadium, all 4 teams have to agree in advance. so you should already know if you're playing there.
And after you pay the $10,000, and half the gate, you can expect to be "accidentally" bumped into the least desirable game time, because you are 3A.

I remember when Plano played in Texas Stadium in a playoff game against North Mesquite. When the bands got down there they had a certain amount of time to get off the field. I was down on the field and talked to one of the Texas Stadium officials that said that if the clock during the band performance goes over time they have to pay $100 for every 10 seconds. They told me that someone's band during a playoff game had to pay 2,000 out his pocket because of that. Just a thing to know.
