The Ft Worth paper is reporting it is now official. Fran is headed to Aggieland.

He actually is here in college station right now. Like I said earlier in the week, there will be a press conference tomorrow announcing him and the new a.d. together.

He had the Horned Frogs of TCU in the BCS hunt two years ago...they would have made it if it had not been for a late loss to UTEP. He's a great coach. He even had a good year this year in an Alabama school that was forbidden from playing in bowl games.

He never stays anywhere long....since TCU he always says "this is my last stop", but it is not. Rarely completes his contract length. Go ahead and start looking for his replacement.
