Rodney Dowell (a current assistant at Boling) was selected Thursday night as the new Van Vleck head football coach and AD.
Dowell was a head football coach at Louise several years ago and was an assistant at Hallettsville and a couple of other schools. Dowell takes over for Robert Blackmon who stepped down to take an principal's job in the district
