Gainesville won state in 2002...and made the state tourney I beleive in 2000 and 2001...

White Oak will go out of Reg. II. I'm supporting my Buckeyes 100% but I don't think they can hang with the Roughnecks if they should meet.

Anyone who calls these two teams sleepers is probably fixin to get beat. Take it for what it is worth, teams who have already experienced the Regional tournament have a better chance of getting there.

Use this analogy: If you have a map you can get there but if you have already been there then it is easier to find it a second time.....Gainesville has found it 6 times in a row and Tatum a couple or 3 times.

I'll beat you a steak dinner one of these two make it to the Regional Tournament.

They are sleepers only in the sense no one is mentioning them in the state top 20 etc.

I picked White Oak to advance past Madison in round 3 but that could go either way.

Tatum vs. WO reg finals
WO advances to state tourney. If Madison beats WO in 3rd round...then they are my pick

Just going by SMOAKY on another board. White Oak has trouble with athletic teams. If this is the case and I don't know because I have not seen them play. But, Gainesville is probably the most athletic team left in all of 3A. Past history says take Gainesville in a WO vs GHS match up. And who knows, both may not even make it that far.

White Oak has the most athletic team it has had in many years....The Leopards athletic ability doesnt worry me but I respect their team alot...Lets not get ahead of ourselves...We are focused on Forney right now.
