Charley Pride passed away today at the age of 86-Heard him 5 years ago at Fayette County Fair in La Grange. Heard him around 10 times during his career when he was real popular. He even played at the Austin County Fair in Bellville about 15 years ago and saw him at the Stafford Centre and at Mickey Gilley's club
I have all of his 33 vinyl records in my collection and over 100 of his 45s.
He was at the CMA awards in November to receive an award and he sang a song.
