I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I'm going with Sinton by 34 again.

I say La Feria wins 20-17.........NOT, come on this one is a no brainer, Sinton beats these guys as bad as they keep the first team in, which will be about to half time. Sinton 40 La Feria 0

I don't know why I even responded to this one...haha. Now get me on the Sinton/Burnet matchup, now there's a game! :)

Not to take anything away from this weeks game, because anything can happen under the Friday Night Lights, but I'd put my money on Sinton.

When can we expect you guys to run into another powerhouse, like Burnet or somebody?

Sinton 35 - 14.I'll say Sinton by 21, too. La Feria is better (much better) this year. Don't they still have that tall (like 6'5") reciever from last year? He burned us for too many yards last year. The valley has made strides in 3A football this year.

Collier-Sharp is up, and they have Sinton by 36.
I'm sticking with 34.

The valley has made strides in 3A football this year.Yeah, he's still there. Port Isabel did a good job of shutting him down. How? Simple....our guys would knock the crap out of him even if he didn't have the ball. The 15 yard penalties are worth it, trust. :D He can't take a hit very well, and when the ball does get thrown to him, he'll pay more attention to getting nailed than catching the ball.

If Port Isabel can shut out La Feria, then I don't see why Sinton can't shut out La Feria either. Their defense is vastly improved though, so y'all won't score as many points as you think. Port Isabel only scored 23 vs. La Feria on a very wet and sloppy field. My prediction is as follows.....

Sinton 24
La Feria 0

we played la feria and won 23-0.
it would have been 45-0
but we were playing in mudd and our main players only played a little more than half. but dont take them litly anything can happen.
look at what happened to sharyland.but still sinton is gonna win.
good luck L.F.,its gonna be a long night.
but it would be nice if you up set sinton.
remeber the game aint over till the fat lady sings!!! :p

Good luck this week, I am looking forward to the Sinton/Burnet matchup next week. you need to show them that sotex can play ball w/them. Just a reminder, beware of the coin toss to determine where and when you play. if you lose the coin toss, you are already at a disadvantage w/burnet(wild zebra). It has taken me time to finally accept the defeat from Burnet. Burnet fans on line will do a very good job of telling you that they whooped up on us by the final score. But they will not admit to you on all the calls that they got from the refs especially the first play of the game. a 103 yard kickoff return untouched by somerset. yes, this is true and no flag was thrown until somerset scored and that was at somerset's 20 yard line. how fishy is that and then on somerset'final series before the half somerset qb threw a pass down to inside the 3 yard line and then came the delayed yellow flag and the call that somerset had a ineligible receiver when in fact the fb was lined up correctly and the film will show that. Although somerset did put up a good show it was very obvious that somerset was not going to win this game no matter what. sounds like sour grapes !!!! but you would feel the same and don't be surprised if you hear some of the same after the burnet/wharton game.Burnet is very beatable and Somerset exploited them.

This will be all Sinton. La Feria, was unable to run the ball against Port Isabel. I see Sinton leading at the Half by 40. I would like to see La Feria, give Sinton a game, but La Feria was ruff up two week in a row. Port Isabel pounded on La Feira. If I remember, two of La Feria player suffered concusions in that game. If Sinton speed is anything like Port Isabel, La Feria defense will be dragging. Final Sinton 68 La Feria 0

It should be a good game but I think Sinton will win it 23 to 14.

Sinton won this game 67 to 13 last year. That rcv. did have a little over 100 yds last year but thats only becasue they couldn't run the ball. They had a total of 7 yards on 34 rushes. By the way he also threw 3 picks. I don't see the game being much different. Chance and Brandon will have a chance for a few more ints. Kenny will fill in just fine for Jules and Adrian is throwing darts. So look out for our own arial attack. Sinton 49 to 6 only because 6 seems to be the magic number.

Guys, should Sinton win Friday (as expected) then from here on out they'll be trying to beat a bunch of Dawgs (Burnet, Jasper & Everman Bulldogs). But I'm not looking ahead. :D Too much wink

Julian may not be playing, but Sinton still has RUN BUBBA RUN.

And don't get started on the tortilla burgers again. I was almost over my addiction until I read the posts about tortilla burgers on the board a while back. I've been on a binge with four tortilla burgers in the last week.
