La Grange Leopards (2-2) @ Lago Vista Vikings (2-1)

First time match up for these two teams. The Vikings are ranked in the top 25 in 3a D1 but are coming off a tough loss to another ranked 3a D1 team Little River Academy. This will be another test of the Leps' defense. They're playing much better ball all around now and if they can keep the turnovers and penalties down should be able to win this one. Leopard offense has been taking care of business so LG should put up some decent points, they just need to get the stops on D. The LG defense should match up well against the Viking offense which is very similar to the Leps.

I'll be listening to this game on KBUK as Lago Vista seems kind of hard to get to all tucked away in those crazy river bends and such. Hope our defense gels. We can score plenty if we can get the ball. We seem to have more difficulty containing the corners while we are pretty solid up the middle against the run. Our pass defense has greatly improved over the first two games. We faced some tough teams so we shouldn't be intimidated by a good Viking squad. I think the Leps win this one by 14.
