Pretty soon Christmas decorations and trees will be up in July. Halloween isn't even over and the costumes are moved out to make room for Christmas stuff. Thanksgiving doesn't even exist in the minds of merchants, but it is not commercial enough. To me, Thanksgiving is one of the more special Holidays, but no one seems to acknowledge it anymore. We need to take one Holiday at a time.

The Commercialization of Christmas is what has caused this. We need to get back to the true meaning of Christmas instead of what the Retailers have been marketing. JMHO

I will agree with you. Some friends and I were having lunch last week and the resturant where we were eating was already playing Christmas music.

Of course. People need to learn that you have one thing at a time. It is something that has bothered me for years.

JMHOThere is a true meaning of Christmas? I thought Christmas was all about Santa and reindeer, and snowmen and how much you can outspend each other. Or how much debt you can create in a short amount of time. I didn't realize there was a "true meaning"! (dripping with sarcasm)
