Toughest Non - District region 3

Gatesville has some pretty tough non district opponents.

Week 1 Alvarado
Week 2 Burnet
Week 3 Cameron Yoe

I think the #23 Hornets will do pretty good this year with Lashon Thayer, Chris Fadal, and Amos Phillips.

Barbers Hill will faces some worthy opponents in:

1: Anahuac(3a)
2: Hamshire Fannett(3a)
3: Dickinson(4a)

I know its not the toughest but it aint a piece of cake either.

Anyway,looks as though the Gatesville Hornets will determine just how good they can/will be when district rolls around based on the non-district games they will play. Don't know much about Alvarado except they recently dropped from 4A to 3A and have a new coach. Burnet is going to be top notch. Still do not understand why they were not ranked in the top 25 by DCTF. A gross oversight. And the Cameron Yoe will field another great team that never quits until the final whistle is blown. Yep, non district should reveal what the Hornets are made of. And to you, CL, if I am not mistaken you grew up two houses down from K.M. who is my niece and whose dad is my brother!
