Who are the teams to beat in this upcoming D1 race to the championship in all regions?I know some have not been decided but it is all speculation anyway. So lets have some.I personally think that the Gilmer Buckeyes will surprise many if they go D1.

Perryton and Everman played last year deep in the playoffs, and look for them to play again this year...It was a good last year, but Perryton has improved tremendously this year...Since I havn't seen too much repressentation from 1-3A, gotta give my old school the nod here...Perryton all the way...

Sinton and Jasper are right up there to. They might meet each other in the semis.

Go RangersHey I know Perryton has had a good program up thier in the panhandle, but everytime they play a decent team out of the panhandle they lose, I will go with Perryton maybe the first 2 rounds but then after that its over with, good luck though

Barbers Hill and Bridge City are two teams that might surprise a few people.

I agree that west Texas teams dont do well out of their territory,I believe Region 2 winner and Jasper may hold the edge.But my opinon is like all others,just that.The games must be played.So, go Buckeyes,its about time.I love going to the dance but taking my own girl would be better

Division 1 is gonna be tough this year. Don't know enough about Region 2 to make a good guess, but here goes...
R1 Everman
R2 Forney/Wills Point/Gilmer... I have no idea
R3 Jasper
R4 Sinton (Had to choose 'em over Burnet just
cause they've already been there)

BDR I think your right on except for Gilmer in Reg. II. Other than that your picks look great.

Rabbit93,BDR didn't say Gilmer would win but he is right when he figured them being in the picture.They can play with both Forney and Wills Point,with a break or two we can win also. :mad:

Gilmer is a good team,could get an upset but we beat them once we will do it again if need be! I would love to see a Gilmer v WP rematch so Gilmer fans will stop whining :D Just Kidding :D Besides one game at a time, Forney v Wp Will be one hell of a game but lets not get on that subject again!

Old dragon I have no doubt that Gilmer will do well. They always seem to have good teams. My own personal opinion was that Forney or WP will be the REG II representative in the Div 1 playoffs. No disrespect towards you guys.
