Crazy, crazy game, for those who listened to it! I thought Stephenville had it. Argyle showed some mettle. Hogenboom-to-Kirkpatrick was outta control for the Eagles.

big night - the WR (#5) had 11 catches for 260+/- and 5td
argyle won every jump ball - that was the difference

Their receivers are very good. They have a firm understanding of battling for the ball when it's in the air.

Still, I was really impressed with Stephenville. I don't think there were many, if any, people in the state that would have given Stephenville much of a chance last night. The Jackets ought to be proud of the fight they showed, and I hope the younger kids on the team can build on this going into the offseason.

I sent the "it's over" text when I sent the 21-7 score update. They fought back though, they just ran out of gas - we played most of the season with 32-34 players and were down to 31 for a few games. Argyle had about 65. Those low numbers eventually caught up to us. And like I said, their WR completely dominated our secondary - that was the difference. Those jump balls that went for touchdowns.
Stephenville graduating 17 seniors of the 32 but apparently we have a freshman qb who could be really good and our RB1 should be back so hopefully that's a solid foundation for next year.
