Needville is in the drivers seat at 4-0. WC,EC,Bport and Sealy all still in the mix. Big games still to come. This week Sealy vs WC and Bport vs Needville and then the last week will see WC vs EC and Needville vs Sealy Anybodies guess .

This used to be an intense rivalry like in the last century when both teams were good. Now El Campo has dominated this series over the past several years.

Whatever happened to the Black Cats? They used to be so good! I've even seen them win State Championships in person before.

I heard they couldn't field a JV team this week. To many had been moved up to help solve discipline problems on the varsity. Don't know what happened but since about 2004 they have been a wreck.Second year head coach Patrick Matthews (6th HC since 04) must be trying to clean things up. Hope he gets it turned around.
