Lots of unbeatens still sitting out there. Lots of multi-loss teams not ranked but probably just outside the top 10. The more I look at these, specifically Div. I, the more I convince myself there are other teams playing besides Argyle, Carthage and La Vega.

Wow, I figured La Feria out of 16 4A DI would have at least cracked the Top 10 by this week after they completely dismantled a 6A team last week.

One of the teams that has to be lurking in the top 15-20 for sure. Just a log-jam in front of them right now.

Beeville Jones is unbeaten with their new coach Chris Soza and 4 year starter at qb Seth Gomez, now if he can only stay healthy he has miss the playoffs last two season if i remember correctly. Big games coming up as they start district in D15 D1.

Same as it means every year at the conclusion of week 11 ... not much, if anything lol.

Just fun discussion. There are a few teams on these lists which haven’t been on there in a long long time, if ever. Fun to see some new names getting some love.

Necks getting some love

Pigskin Prep has Sealy, Needville and the Necks all in the top 10. Gonna be a dog fight for sure. This district will have a rematch or two in the playoffs.

Sealy I agree for sure belongs. I want to see more from the necks and needville before I’d put them there. I’m going to make time for the Columbia needville game though

D II District 8 pretty tough with 3 teams Connally, Robinson, and Fairfield. I expect Coach Biles to find a way to get Lorena in the mix before it's over with.

I know the computers are split on Mt Vernon...Padilla has them at #2 and Jerry has them at #17
Our 3A D1 poll is pretty heavy with unbeaten teams with strong cases right now....Only two teams w/losses are Malakoff and Atlanta...Mt Vernon will get their chance against Atlanta and also Jefferson

LaFeria dismantled a bad 6A team....I dont personally put a ton of stock in that...Wichita Falls Hirschi beat an above average 6A in Wolfforth Frenship (they are 4-1) and they aren't in the top ten...

I think LaFeria is a very good team, and they have the best shot of getting past the third round in the entire Valley...but its going to take a lot for them to get into the top ten...I'd peg them right now around the 20 range at the moment..teams like Paris, Henderson, Needville, Melissa, Canyon, Beeville, Andrews, Wichita Falls Hirschi and Gainesville are IMO all ahead of LaFeria...

They play #4 and #6 back to back going into district the next two weeks. That will be the real bench mark.....

As far as the rankings go, the 4AD1 top 3 im convinced they are pretty accurate, I see some int the rest that I know LH would destroy in a game..... as Forest once said: "Thats all im gonna say about that"..........
