Lindale vs Wills Point

This is going to be a WAR. I am not going to pick either team, even being a WP loyalist I am not going to say they are going to win because this one is going to be a WAR. Wills Point has much to prove in this one. Your absolutely right it is going to be an all out war. It ought to be a spectacular air show since both teams will be airing the ball out all night. I am going to pick
Wills Point in this one. I was at Wills Point Friday night and they man handled Athens through the air and on the ground with McDougle tossing 3 tds and running for 1 td. The score could have been alot worse than 46 to 15. From what I read in the paper was that Lindale only had 18 yds. passing and 100 yds on the ground. They also scored one of their tds. on a fumble return.

Yea, I think the game with Lindale will be great, they like always beat us. But this year, I definately believe we should win. I will absolutely be there, and this year is our best team in a long time, so it should be killer... And yea I don't understand why WP is not in the top 20, but it's only a matter of time. All these ppl talking about how great Forney is, and all these other teams are going to be all about WP in a few weeks... Just give it some time, all we need is to show what we can really do! (I thought destroying Athens like that was a very nice start, even though they were a joke for us to be playing)

This one is one of many good games this week...it is too close to call..but since I have Lindale ranked ahead of WP I gotta go with Lindale...but a WP win wouldn't surprise me...they are loaded....

Speaking of how Lindale is rated above us, I don't really understand that. I read about how many weapons we have, such and such, and despite such talk we are still underrated. Matt, you say we are loaded, but you say nothing about Lindale being loaded. But that is good, as long as we are not hyped, we have something to prove. And that is all the motivation a team needs, keeps you from getting a bloated head http://bbs.3adownlow.com/ubb/smile.gif I just wish we had a way tougher district than we do, becuase the teams we play in season are going to do nothing to prepare us for the playoffs, and a possible first round with Forney. Thank god our preseason is strong somewhat, we need all the good teams we can get! Something noone really notes is that this years seniors really carried the team last year, something a lot of teams can't claim, and that gives our starters this year a ton of experience going in to this season, something that is really nice http://bbs.3adownlow.com/ubb/biggrin.gif And yea, it was amazing to see that we finally have a running game from playing Athens, I was really worried about that...
