This will be "The young and restless" part ll. Last week against Texas City the Ricebirds first TD was on a pass to a freshman WR. The second a 35 yard run by a soph. The third a 36 yard scamper by a Jr. and all three extra points were booted through by a freshman kicker. Lots of energy on this team and I'm sure they will have their growing pains but still, it gets an old timer like me all excited. Birds by 20. See what I mean?

Oh. did I mention the Birds leading rusher on the night didn't score? Yep - anther freshman.
