Looks like Rockdale was ready to play. 42-20 and that's with 3 tds called back for holding penalties. The Tigers were ranked number three in their district by DCTF obviously better than that. Tough opening night for the Buffs but it is early plenty of time to put things together,

Congrats Rockdale. And nice stadium/new turf. Need wider sidewalks to the concessions on the visitors side.

Giddings defensive secondary had so many blown coverages. Not to take away from Rockdale's speed, but their receivers were 10 yards plus wide open. Guys were somehow "sneaking" past the defense and wide open. That's why I called it blown coverages. Rockdale's QB really impressed me. What a great arm, throwing really nice passes.

Giddings will have to fix these secondary holes, or it will be a short season. There were tackles that should have been made, but not wrapped up, that ended in RD touchdowns.

It was hot. Guys were cramping up.

Time will tell on that. Cameron will be traveling up to Giddings in three weeks. Top 3 teams are all more than likely at least top 15-20.
