Loved this, Matt. Nice job. Always wanted to take in a D'Hanis Saturday game.

And boy, oh, boy, reminiscing about Celina's many great Thanksgiving Day playoff games. It was always so much fun building our plans around those games, going to early Thanksgiving Day celebrations and ducking out early because we had to get to the stadium to watch the Bobcats. Lots of great great memories.

One of the things that would be on my personal bucket list is taking in a Sherman-Denison matchup. It's odd that I never saw this rivalry, given that I grew up just down the road in Celina. But just never had the free Friday where I would pass up the Bobcats for the Battle of the Ax. But it's always fun to hear about how packed Bearcat Stadium would get for this game — and that old gem is built for an electric, overflow crowd!
