Avoiding Rain and Finding a dry field for baseball, softball playoffs this weekend

5-10 inches or rain is forecast over the next four days which will make it almost impossible to find a dry field to play a two out three game series or even one game in South and East Texas. There are only a handfull of artificial fields to play at around the state. So coaches will be scrambling over the next few days. Isn't Tuesday, May 14 the deadline for certification?

There are now quite a few turf fields in DFW and West Texas....I didnt realize that many schools had turf fields now

Much easier to maintain and much much lower maintenance costs......water ain't cheap nowadays. Argyle has a very nice turf field not being used this week......they will be playing on Brock's turf field this weekend.
