So, after reviewing, and reviewing, everything out there in regards to the Cuero Gobblers becoming 4A Div 2 State Champions, i wondered why the gold football trophy is given leading up to this grand accomplishment, but the rather simple (IMO) wooden triangular trophy is given for winning it all. Just wondering. Any thoughts are facts?
