Sinton appears like the early favorites, Ingleside, Robstown and Orange Grove could be next tier with Beeville i'm uncertain they made late push last season and return almost all their team but haven't started off good. Coach K coached 7 players that went on to play pro ball, one of them drafted by Seattle but went to college ball instead would of made it 8. All pitchers. Defense and pitching when coach K took over preached every practice. 4th state title stopped by Lorena unbeaten team as they stopped Sinton from winning back to back state titles in a extra inning loss in the state title game.

This year team has been pretty good for Sinton but they have had games they didn't play well defensively costing them some games in the loss column. They have given up an average of 2.36 runs a game and the earn runs is under 1 as a team. This is one of their better teams just need to get back to playing solid defense every inning.

Beeville at Sinton Sinton has several pitchers in the rotation, think they're going with Mike Mendez tonight.
Orange Grove at Robstown Robstown works out the mistakes they could be peaking soon. Orange Grove win keeps in the hunt for top spot. loss hurts some but still in good position for a playoff spot down the road.

Ingleside and Rockport should get another district win to keep them in the hunt.

Refugio started Jared Kelley UT commit. From scout reports was clocked at 98 in first inning and 95 tops from 2nd to 5th inning. His line 5 IP 1 R 1 ER 8 SO 3 BB 106 pitches and left with game tied at 1.
Sinton back to back days with a combined no-hitter this time with Chris Garcia on the mound and Zach Moses with the save. Fr Rylan Galvan went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk.

Sinton 21-5 for the season and Refugio drops to 12-1 for the year.

Rockport scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the six spoiling another shut out by the Sinton pitching staff. Sinton has gone 9 out of the last 10 games with no earn runs given up. Sinton clinched a playoff berth an are 23-5 and can wrap up the district title on monday with a win against 2nd place Ingleside at home.(I'll miss that game my job has me helping out in Midland-Odessa area next week better now than when the playoff starts)

Sinton took game 3 12-0 to move on

Sinton gave up one earn run in the 3 game series. That first game cost them giving up the 3 runs in the first inning on routine plays. Escape the season ending early and look to be at full strength now in the liineup with Mendez and Rene Galvan back in lineup after both missing half the season.

Chris Garcia pitched in game 2 and Zach Moses in game 3. Mike Mendez hopefully ready for Rd 3 on the mound. Brett Brown has pitched both times against Robstown this year.
