The Wharton Tigers will advance to the Class 4A playoffs after beating the Sealy Tigers, 54-52, on a last second shot by Billy Phillips on Friday, Feb. 15 at B.F. Terry High School in Rosenberg. The teams were playing for the final spot for fourth place in District 25-4A. Following district play earlier this week, the two teams were tied with 6-6 records. Information on the bi-district game will be updated later.
