2019 Baseball: Gobblers Classic Feb 21-23

44 or anyone else know the tournament schedule for Feb 21st and 22nd.

I always save some vacation days for tournaments Sinton is in. They have been in Pleasanton tourney for long time, this year they switch it up and enter the Gobbler Classic so finally get to see Gobbler baseball stadium.

Yay baseball is almost back!

I've posted an inquiry on FB - the coaches have been busy with 2 football players signing letters of intent this week and the football team going to the state capitol yesterday - maybe I will get a reply soon :)

Sinton led 4-1 into bottom of the 5th last night and Yoakum rallied to score 5 as 2 hr time limit ended the game. Yoakum 6 Sinton 4 Final

Sinton 7 Cuero 1 Final Championship game

Sinton pitcher Mike Mendez with 13 strike out 3 hitter in his first game back this season.

Sinton has 6 returning senior starters and 3 freshmen starters. Freshmen have put some spark to this team it lack last season.

Cuero is the region favorite this season they have some good kids up and down the lineup. There is some other teams in the region that can make some noise also but could be these two meeting again in the playoffs.

Very nice field and like the field view the concession folks have, that is just awesome idea to put it there. Also liked Yoakum field fans can park in the outfield and watch a game.
