I don't think I did if it was today - I've been in Kyle at my radiation treatments and did the poll as soon as I got back to town. (My ipad nor my iphone would let me post a thread with a poll, assume it's operator error) .. I will check it out after work....

Oh well just a coincidence then. Someone on the fox app said that there was still no thread thread on the downlow for the cuero game, and I told them that 44inarow could take care of that and then sure enough 10 mins later you started the thread. Lol

The average age of the posters on the "East Texas Superiority" site (Smoaky) is only one or two years higher than that on the Friday Night app. I'm sure your attempt to educate them was noble, but it's hard to tolerate and correct the behavior of wayward children.

CUERO — Cuero coach Travis Reeve drove to Colorado with his family after the Gobblers’ quarterfinal loss to Navarro in 2016.

Wow.....what a game!! I've been busy on the Smoaky site in this one.....very busy, hahaha. I had to admit I was wrong though.....it was a "one-man show" of sorts, but took an entire team and an entire season to get the title. But it always does.....doesn't it!!! Good Stufff Cuero.....what a great showing by your entire team. No one player can do it all by himself....even though Jordan Whittington came as close as is humanly possible.

I know Arthur, Snotbubbles......I'm the guy from Goliad that had to cover him in the secondary. Arthur Whittington was one of the best ever to come out of Cuero, and still is. But I think Jordan did his name good today.....very good indeed. So you see.....even old regaleagle has been around for quite a while in Texas high school football circles.....from way back in 1972. Congrats and a big Hello to Arthur today from an old nemesis.

First time I ever heard of Cuero was in 1987 when I was 17 years old. WO-S won the 4A title that year and Cuero won the 3A. Took us until 2015 (at the expense of Cuero) to win another and now Cuero has done it again too. I'm super happy for them. Been texting 44inarow for weeks about it. Unfortunately we could meet again next year.
