I know the Panthers are not looking past 12-1 LaVernia, you dont win 12 games by being mediocre that is for sure. I believe LV will come out fighting, but LH will prevail again. We always seem to get a cold nasty quarter final though, dang 5As kicking us out of the Alamo Dome.

Gonzales played both LH and LV. Had a wide spread on the score against LV. I think that was primarily because of the 5 to's that Gonzales had. One pass intercepted in the end zone and another on the one yard line. Don't know if LV has the muscle to stop the nasty slot. Hill, you can't turn the ball over against these guys. To's will kill you. Play your quick strike offense and you should prevail, but don't sell the Bears short. They are a good football team.

Great question, I was about to ask the same thing. What kind of offense does La Vernia run? Who are their go to guys on offense? What's their Base defense?

Any word on if weather is going to move this game up/back? Friday weather forecast is starting to look awfully nasty/wet...

LV runs the spread with a beast of a QB (Clayton Chadwick). The team is overall dang good , you dont win 12 football games if you arent. LVs kingpin is Chadwick, he looks like a Line Backer but has an arm and runs the ball like a boss. He is only about 5'10 and does not look the part of a Spread QB, but he has made plenty of opponents look foolish with his arm and feet.


Overall LV is not as good as Sealy, but have to be taken very seriously, there are only tough outs at this time of the season.
