And I'm going to sound like I've got some major sour grapes, but it really should be Port Isabel in Round 3 instead of West Oso. The Tarpons had West Oso beat. A phantom false start when the PI RB basically could have walked in for the game winning TD pushes the Tarpons back, then they have to rely on a Sophomore kicker moved up from JV for a GW FG attempt that barely misses wide left.

West Oso has absolutely no defense whatsoever. So Cuero should win by whatever margin they choose.

Will West Oso score some points on Cuero? Definitely. They're too athletic. Maybe 14 or 21 points. But with a defense as weak as West Oso's is, they won't be able to keep up. Especially if Cuero drops 50+ on the Bears.

Yeah, Cuero is scary good and what's more, they're playing with a real edge. You can see it in the kids' body language and mannerisms during the game. They're not cocky at all or have a swagger, they play with an intense attitude. It can be intimidating for lesser teams.

I like this post... I think you are on point! I truly think RH thought they were going to come into the game and put up a lot of points - They never got out of the gate. Even with their quick snap offense. Still gotta play the games, one at a time....

I saw it from clips against Navarro and Wimberley and at the Pearsall game. They score and as they're going into the endzone slow up just to deliver a shot against the defender. Or they get up after getting tackled and get up right in the defender's face. It's a pretty cool intimidation tactic. 1. because they're faster than you and can do it and 2. they're almost begging you to do something about it.

Y'all Cuero folks Redshirt your kids so that they're 19 when they graduate from Cuero HS or something? Because that's what it looks like, big time. Like Cuero kids are an extra full year of development ahead of all of their competition.

We just grow them big here in Cuero and Yoakum. None of the kids are held back for athletic purposes, Jordan Whittington is 17 and will graduate early in December and so will a couple others. The kids like the game so much, that they go to camps and all kinds training competition. We don't have a lot to do around here so kids work on ranches and and other jobs that require strength and dexterity. Ever get chased by a mad cow? You'll learn all kinds of moves to avoid being trampled. Lol !:D
